Interactive Music Video

For my final assessment, over 8 weeks I had the pleasure of designing and creating an interactive music video for local Dunedin band “Thundercub”. Using flash, I hoped to create an interactive + visual + listening experience for the user. Taking the music video to a whole new level, by introducing a game aspect to the soundtrack. The entire track is split into layers of sound, the aim is for the user to journey through each level, avoiding enemies and collecting layers of sound hidden in coins, eventually assembling the entire track. A very challenging, but rewarding experience. Many thanks to Thundercub for giving me the oppertunity to work with them.

Here are a few screen shots from the game.

  1. This is my favourite one, Lise. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with next (maybe you add a scene with the crazy waterspout).
